On 4th September 2019, the School of Software of South China Normal University held an orientation and information session for freshmen from Software Engineering (SCNU-UoA Articulation Program). We invited Professor Richard Wells (Vice President of UoA), Dr. Harminder Battu (Coodinator of International Affairs of UoA), Tianfei Lin (Party Secretary in School of Software) and Huan Chen (Vice Dean for International Affairs in School of Software) to this event.
Our guests from UoA introduced the learning environment and facilities, academic programs and admission criteria, etc. of UoA, as well as the overview of Aberdeen itself. During the orientation, the students questioned about scholarship, postgraduate studies and career prospects. Richard, Harminder and the guest of the School of software had good communication with students on those questions. After the orientation, Richard was invited to freshman welcoming ceremony of 2019.
