On the morning of 30 September 2019, South China Normal University held a flag-raising ceremony in Shipai Campus, University Town Campus and Nanhai Campus respectively. Party Secretary of School of Software Tianfei Lin, Secretary of Youth League Committee Wenjin Yang and Counselors Ping Li, as well as the students of class 18 and 19 participated in the ceremony.
The flag-raising ceremony formally started at 7:30. The flag guards escorted a five-star red flag marching to the venue. National anthem of the People's Republic of China was played loudly while the flag was being hoisted, and the teachers and students saluted with eyes.
