On 6 November 2019, the School of Software, SCNU invited Dr. Hannes Herrmann of Curtin University for the seminar of SCNU-Curtin Articulation Programs teacher training. The seminar was hosted by Chen Huan, Vice-Dean of the School of Software. Dear of the School of Software Zeng Biqing, Vice-Dean Pan Jiahui, Liang Yan director of the software science, Su Hai, director of the software engineering and application, Shen Shuyuan, course coordinator of information and computing science, and teachers of SCNU-Curtin Articulation Programs participated in the meeting and exchange.
During the morning meeting, Zeng Biqing, Dear of the School of Software delivered a speech of welcome, as well as introducing the overview of the School of Software and SCNU-Curtin Articulation Programs. Dr. Herrmann introduced teaching modes and teaching methods of Curtin University systematically, and he also introduced Curtin’s Learning Management System “Blackboard”. Dr. Herrmann shared his experiences for taught in English for bilingual students. Afterwards, Dr. Herrmann and teachers of the School of Software had a deep communication in the teaching of SCNU-Curtin Articulation Programs for next semester.
